Mondo del Vino SpA uses the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) as a method to measure and constantly improve the environmental performance along the entire production and distribution cycle of its wines. Thanks to these tools, the whole group is able to determine the Organization Environmental Footprint (OEF, Organization Environmental Footprint) and even get to define the Environmental Footprint of the Product (PEF, Product Environmental Footprint). Mondo del Vino SpA has 8 companies in Italy and 5 foreign subsidiaries spread across Great Britain, Russia, the United States and South Korea. This international distribution company network contributes to the presence of Mondo del Vino products in 50 countries all over the world. The main foreign markets in which the company is present are Great Britain, the Nordic countries, Austria, Germany and Switzerland, but significant growth is recorded in the emerging markets of South America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Mondo del Vino SpA was founded in 2013 as a holding company of a group of wineries, but its history began in 1991 in Forlì with the foundation of MGM Mondo del Vino Srl. In 2002 MGM arrived in Priocca (CN) thus including the production of wines Piedmontese classics to which bubbles from the Cuvage cellar founded in Acqui Terme and the wines from the Ricossa – Ca'dei Mandorli cellar in Castel Boglione in the heart of Monferrato have been added over time. To these wineries are added the Poderi dal Nespoli from Romagna with its quality Sangiovese and its innovative white wines, produced by the Ravaioli family since 1929, and the Sicilian Barone Montalto based in Santa Ninfa (TP), one of the main export brands of Sicilian fine wines.
