The sea and the landscape have always influenced the production of Ligurian wine. The first traces of vine cultivation date back to Roman times. The most common varieties are white grapes.

Among the Ligurian white wines there are, in fact, Vermentino and Cinque Terre .

Among the best Ligurian red wines (not only DOC ) are Rossese , Val Polcevera, etc.
