Friuli Venezia Giulia

Friuli-Venezia Giulia has always stood out for its great heritage of native vines . A variety which over time has been further enriched with the introduction of international vines, such as Pinot Grigio , Chardonnay and Sauvignon .

Among the most famous Friulian red wines are Refosco , Schioppettino, Terrano, etc.

The most famous white wine of Friuli-Venezia Giulia is certainly Tocai Friulano , which became only Friulano after the battle lost with Hungary because the name was too similar to that of the Hungarian tokaji.

But there are also other important white wines , such as Piccolit , Vitovska and Malvasia.
