Sardinia
The vine was introduced into Sardinia by the Phoenicians , but it was strongly influenced by the traditions and cultures of the peoples who conquered the island over time, from the Romans to the Arabs.
To the Aragonese in particular, we owe both the introduction of new viticultural techniques and of new grape varieties still present in Sardinia today, such as the famous Cannonau .
Sardinia is a land of excellent white and red wines, such as Vermentino , Nuragus (its origin dates back to the Phoenicians), Carignano , Bovale , Cannonau , etc.
