All our vines have a strongly "territorial" imprint. Each vine is grown in the Murgia area, a karst plateau largely included in the metropolitan city of Bari and in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, characterized by a predominantly clayey and sandy soil on the surface and by a deep calcareous layer in depth. Specifically, our crops are located in the cities of Andria, especially in the area below Castel del Monte, Canosa and Minervino Murge; at an altitude between 250 and 400 meters above sea level. Thus, our products can enjoy a temperate climate, particularly mild and comfortable in spring and autumn, with cold winters and mild summers.

The family and history
Our family has been active in the agricultural sector since the 1930s. In those years Vincenzo Agresti (grandfather and namesake of the current owner of Agresti Vini) gives life to the mill with the aim of producing extra virgin olive oil strictly from olives of the Coratina variety. Over the years, the company grows in size and production. Soon there will be 10 hectares dedicated to cultivation and the constant innovation of processes and techniques will guarantee the physiological growth of production. In the 1980s, alongside grandfather Vincenzo and Riccardo, his son, his sons Savino and Vincenzo took their first steps in the company who, starting in the 1990s, independently managed the family business after having diversified its production . Agresti produces, today, also wine with crops scattered throughout the province, especially in the Murge area near Castel del Monte.
