The four cellars are located in the heart of the Veneto region, between Verona, Vicenza and Venice. This area enjoys volcanic and morainic soils particularly suited to viticulture thanks also to the temperate climate and their sunny exposure. In particular, the Berici Hills, which originated about 60 million years ago following upheavals, are very clayey soils, suitable for giving structure to wines; the Gambellara area sees basaltic soils which contribute to enhancing the finesse of the aromas and perfumes; the Garda soils, on the other hand, are of morainic origin, loose and rich in skeleton which give the wine a marked minerality.

The family and history
Established in 1947 on the roots of the previous social winery called Enopolio di Gambellara, active since 1920. Enopolio = stands for/evolves into Monopoly, a name that underlines the monopoly of the Gambellara DOC appellation on the territory, but which is also the name of the brand new selection that contains small treasures: the Garganega, an autochthonous vine, in its most diverse variations and nuances from a still and complex white like the Gambellara Classico to the Garganega raisined in the "picai" from which the Recioto and the Vin Santo di Gambellara DOC derive, denomination that the Cellar itself has helped to draw up since its inception. Gambellara is a land of basalts, dark rocks and an extinct volcano which have characterized the area and give great aromatic finesse to the wines.
