Distributed over 40 hectares aged between 4 and 50 years, located on the enchanting south-west slope of Staffolo between 350 and 450m above sea level, the vineyards find their ideal habitat in this ancient sandstone production area thanks to the sandy soils , saline and rich in mineral water in the upper part of the same for Verdicchio and Trebbiano and calcareous-clayey in the lower part for Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Merlot and a few rows of Malvasia. We deeply believe that the quality of the raw material - the bunch of grapes - is the basis of a quality wine. The vine is like a person…it is influenced by the environment that surrounds it and is understood only after many years. Only a healthy vine, well rooted in its best soil and well adapted to its best microclimate can offer its maximum expression in terms of development, maturation, aromas and scents of its DNA. What we do is simply do everything possible to keep our vineyards healthy. Harvesting with low night temperatures allows us to bring fresh grapes to the cellar, avoid oxidation of the must and guarantee the presence of many aromas that would otherwise be lost.

The family and history

The history of the company coincides with that of a family of winemakers native to Staffolo and always dedicated to the production of local Verdicchio wine. The family business was born four generations ago when the great-grandparents of the current owners began to vinify their own Verdicchio grapes with the techniques they possessed, selling the wine in the markets of the area. It was then Leonardo Palpacelli who continued his father's business and founded the “Tre Castelli” farm in 1990. In 1999, when Leonardo passed away, he was succeeded by his two sons Emanuele and Gianfilippo, who in turn founded the current brand " Vignedileo " in honor of their father, continuing the family business bringing it to high quality levels and in a dimension of strong development e
modernity.
