Ca'Tullio is located in Aquileia, the historic Roman capital in Friuli, today a territory dedicated to quality viticulture. The splendid vinification cellar is the result of the careful renovation which, in 1994, brought back a tobacco dryer dating back to the beginning of the last century to its former glory. To accompany the grapes and then the wine with extreme care in all its transformation phases, Ca'Tullio makes use of the most modern
winemaking technologies. We produce native and international wines that express freshness, harmony of aromas and intensity of taste. Our wines
they come from the 100ha of vineyards located among the Doc Friuli Colli
Oriental and Doc Friuli Aquileia. Ca'Tullio wines are the expression of a territory that has always been devoted to viticulture and represent the fruit of our work on these lands located in the extreme north of the Mediterranean, where the
microclimate is mild due to the proximity of the Adriatic Sea.

The family and history

The origins of the Ca' Tullio winery date back to the end of the 19th century, when the structure was built which in 1928 would experience a radiant development as an agricultural activity by the Tullio family. At the time it was one of the most significant economic realities in the area, so much so that there was no Aquileian who didn't have at least one relative who worked there. This imposing and functional four-storey structure experienced a flourishing period for the production of fruit, vegetables, vine rootstocks (Kober) and grains, but above all for the tobacco drying business. At the helm of the business today is the Calligaris family with their son Paolo and grandsons Giacomo and Emanuele.
