Pinot Noir is an international grape variety of French origin ( Burgundy ), grown all over the world. It is considered one of the most noble red grape varieties. The neutral color of its pulp also makes it suitable for vinification in white . In Italy, the production areas are: Trentino-Alto Adige , Oltrepò Pavese , Veneto , Friuli and Tuscany . Vinified in white , it is included in the composition of classic method sparkling wines, Dal Trento Doc al Franciacorta .

The wine obtained from the Pinot Noir vine has a ruby red colour. On the palate it is tannic, full-bodied, fruity and elegant.
What to pair Pinot Noir with
Pinot Noir goes perfectly with meat dishes, cold cuts and aged cheeses. It is also excellent with first courses with meat sauce. The young vintages of Pinot Noir vinified in steel tanks are considered throughout the meal, from appetizers to main courses. It should be tasted in large glasses and at a service temperature between 18 and 20°C .
